Balenciaga Inspired Giant Work Review

When I saw the Balenciaga inspired Giant Work in fuchsia I had to have this bag. Not only do I love bright colors, but fuchsia is one of my favorites. The purse is made of supple faux leather and looks almost exactly like the original bags donned by the most famous celebrities. My fiancee actually complimented me on the purse which exemplifies how gorgeous this purse really is. The picture does no justice for the quality and detail of the bag. The purse also comes with a long shoulder strap that you can remove and a matching mirror that you can attach to the bag.

The inside of the purse is as luxurious as the outside. It is made of a satin material that screams beauty. This purse is great to keep the inside organized. It has a cell pocket with an open pocket right next to it. It has a full zipper pocket in the middle of the bag with a large open pocket. The back wall also has a zipper pocket. It is great for someone who carries "everything" in their bag.

Everyone knows that Valentine's Day is about showing the one you love, just how much you love and care for them. Whether it be making them a gift, taking them to dinner or buying them some roses, make your Valentine's Day the most special ever. So how do you do that?

1. Show them you care- Of course that is our main intention so how do we accomplish this task? Listen to them. See what is important to them and do it. If your loved one wants you to spend extra time with them and sit and have a romantic dinner then book it in advance and take them somewhere you know they will love.

2. Show them it comes from the heart- Everyone can go to the store and buy chocolates or roses but buying or making them something special shows that you care.

IDEAS:
Make/burn a cd. When you are in the car and they turn up a song because they love it, write it down and compile a list to make your cd with. It will show that you listen to them and it will show how important you are to them.

Buy them a gift. This is a given but think outside the box. Have they been wanting a sexy swimsuit or an Ipod but they haven't had the money? If you can afford it then buy it for them. It will go a lot farther than picking up some flowers at the store.

Make a list. Write down all of the things you love about them and get creative. Fold each one up indivdually and put it in a basket or a heart shaped box.

3. Plan ahead- When you wait until the last minute, it shows. You will be stressed out and so will your partner. Talk about it and think ahead this way you have set plans and you can have a good time instead of worrying about whether or not you can get a reservation.

4. Relax and enjoy your time with your loved one. Look into their eyes and tell them how much they mean to you and what you love about one another.

5. Be & get sexy! Women, seduce your men in some sexy lingerie. Men, buy your women some sexy lingerie so they can feel beautiful.

No hair that's "Here, there & everywhere"!

Who wants smooth, fully, shiny and sexy hair? What kind of question is that really, everyone does!

So with my expertise I am going to help you achieve this look. If your hair is completely damaged due to over processing, peroxide and other traumatic things you do to your hair, then I probably can't help you, but I can give you a tip. You hair grows, so just get regular trims and stop messing with it or it will get worse. Over time it will look better and healthier but be sure to get regular trims and get a scalp treatment or use a deep moisturizing shampoo and conditioner mask.

FIRST LET'S START WITH THE DONT'S!!!

Ok how many people have used hot oil, regular oil like vegetable oil, mayonaisse, eggs or some other product you read about that will "cure" your frizz and unmanageable hair but it ends up making a complete mess? Don't ever use this crap in your hair, if it's not good for your body what makes you think it is good for your hair? Your hair is made out of protein(kertain) but not the edible kind.

FUN FACT: Did you know that if you swallow a piece of hair that it won't digest?

So let's recap, don't use any food products in your hair at all! Here is why:

Vegetable oil- It do absolutely nothing for your hair but create a mess. Vegetable oil seems like a good idea, but all it does it make your hair smelly funky, making it look oily(go figure) and it takes forever to wash out.

Eggs- Who ever made up this stupid idea should be forced to clean the eggs out of everyone's hair. It causes a mess. Food products do not absorb in our hair like nutrients do when you eat food. Secondly, you are putting what would have been a chicken in your hair. Enough said!

Mayo- Really, enough is said with just the name but let's delve deeper into this disguisting condiment. First off it smells like crap. I don't know anyone that uses it as perfume, but I don't want to walk near anyone that has it in their hair. Second point, it is all fat and it's not good for your hair or your body. It does absolutely nothing for your hair except make it smell.

Do we see a pattern with the food here? It always smells, it makes a mess and it has nothing to do with making your hair healthier!

HOT OIL: DO NOT USE THIS!

Myth: People think that using hot oil will make their hair silky and smooth and cut away the frizz.

Truth: Hot oil is HOT and actually damages your hair. Think about it like this, if you stick hot oil on your skin what is going to happen? It's going to burn your skin, just like it damages your hair.

Suggestion: If you like hot oil that much, don't heat it up and throw a few drops in your conditioner bottle and shake it up.

OK SO HELP ME WITH THIS FRIZZ ALREADY!

Frizz is actually just damaged hair, so what you need to do is make your hair healthy again, similar to what you would do if you gained weight and you were trying to get healthy.

First step, skip the junk food for your hair. All of the products like hairspray, gel, etc and not good for your hair. They actually suffocate your hair follicles and they dry the crap out of your hair. We all need to use them sometimes so I would suggest using a natural styling product or a cream product from Bed Head (they have some awesome products)!

USE A GOOD SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER!
I have tried a million different types of shampoo and conditioner and most don't do what they say. Of course they aren't miracle products like they portray themselves to be. They have commercials where models have the most beautiful shiny hair and they say your hair will look like that; it's unrealistic. They use technology to edit the commercial and erase all of the imperfections, they style their hair before hand with products and using straighteners and really good lighting, if you want hair like that then hire a person to walk around with a light above your head at all times so your hair is incredibly shiny.

So what's good?
I LOVE Dove. Not only does it smell good and actually work but it's affordable. They have different types that fit your hair's condition, but I like to use Dove Intense Damage Therapy which was actually recommended to me by old hair stylist instead of a product she sells (that's how you know when it's good).

MONEY SAVING TIP: Instead of buying a separate deep conditioning treatment use the conditioner you already have (but it better be a good one)! Before you take a shower put it on your dry hair and leave it in for about 10 minutes and then just jump in the shower, rinse it out and follow your shampoo routine as normal.

NATURAL SHAMPOO: I was searching through the PETA Mall where I frequent because I like to buy from businesses that are animal friendly. I bought this awesome shampoo and when I say it's awesome I mean it. I figured I would get into this "natural product/green" hype so I bought it and I fell in love. Not only is it all natural, I don't even need to use a conditioner. I know that not everyone needs to use conditioner but I have really long hair so I usually have to so it doesn't get tangled. NOW FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO USE JUNK FOOD IN THEIR HAIR!
If you using styling products a lot, you probably have a hard time washing them out so you keep shampooing to get all the gunk out and all you do is over dry your hair and damage it worse.

TIP: When your in the shower and your hair is wet put conditioner in it. Leave it on for about 3 minutes and do this BEFORE you shampoo. The conditioner actually loosens the products and when you rinse it gets most of it out. After you rinse then shampoo as you normally would which will wash away the excess stuff left in your hair.

PROOF THAT THIS TIP WORKS!
Well I have done it myself before so of course I know it works but my sister actually used my advice last weekend. She got married so you can imagine how much hairspray she had in her hair. She used the conditioner first and she was COMPLETELY shocked that it actually worked that she had to tell me immediately afterward, lol. I know everyone has a hard time getting it out of their hair, so follow my awesome advice and save yourself a lot of time and damage.

RANDOM TIPS:
The best way to get rid of hair problems is to stop dying your hair and use good products without alcohol in them.
Get regular trims- I know that we all hear this but it is a necessity, it prevents breakage and damage and you hair looks better afterward.
Hair dye- Obviously this is a given that it's not good for your hair. Don't use cheap products (they are cheaply priced for a reason) and don't use any with peroxide or bleach. Stay away from blond dye, try using a really light golden brown instead so you don't damage your hair as bad.
Hair styling- If you use a hair straightener, curling iron or blow dryer, get some kind of heat protector to use on your hair to prevent as much damage as you can.
Brushing your hair- Use a comb instead of a brush. When you use a comb you are not pulling at your hair and ripping through the knots like you do with a brush. If your hair gets knotty when using a comb, get detangler(I use Dove).

WELL, I hope that my rambling on helped you fight some of the problems with your hair. I'm not a professional hair expert but I know a lot about hair from when I took Cosmetology and also just from doing people's hair and my own. It seems that in this day and age, many women have problems with their features pertaining to beauty because they don't know which products to buy that actually work or even how to put on their own makeup.

I decided to help women out and give you some top beauty tricks and products to help you look and feel your best! Be sure to checkout back often, as I will be posting a new blog weekly with some beauty tips that can change your life!

WEEK 1: Let's start with those clumpy tarantula eyelashes!!

First off, let me tell you how I get commented on my eyelashes all the time, sometimes I get asked if they are fake because they look so good. How can you get great eyelashes too?

STEP 1:
Remove the water from your eyelashes when you get out of the shower. You can use your towel, cotton or a piece of toilet paper. Gently glide whatever you are using on the bottom of your eyelashes in an upward motion, like how you would put mascara on.

STEP 2:
Now that the water is off of them, use an eyelash brush to comb them how you want them(if you don't have a brush, just use a piece of toilet paper to separate them). When you getting to the middle of your eyelashes, close your eye and brush upward which helps you get a slight curl in your eyelashes. This step helps to separate your eyelashes so they are full and don't clump when you put your mascara on.

THINK ABOUT THIS: When you put your mascara on, if you eyelashes are not brushed and straight and they are overlapping and clumpy looking, that is what your eyelashes are going to look like when you are done.

STEP 3:
DON'T throw away that old mascara that has nothing left in it. So I prep my eyelashes by using my old mascara with nothing in it. I brush my eyelashes to how I want them with it because it has a small amount left on it, but not enough to actually make them look good. The reason I do this, it molds your eyelashes to how you want them to go when you apply the new mascara.

STEP 4:
Put on your mascara. DO NOT layer it up. If you get clumps or too much mascara do this: Take that old mascara you used for step three and brush your lashes with it. It will pull off the extra mascara and take away the clumps. Reshape them with the brush. When they are good, do one more coat of mascara immediately and put that mascara brush down.

BIGGEST REASON FOR CLUMPS:

Not brushing your eyelashes or putting on mascara without separating them
Using old mascara
Using cheap and just plain badly formulated mascara
Not using the right mascara brush
Putting on too many coats of mascara

THE BEST TYPES OF MASCARA TO GET:
So I am a HUGE mascara lover. I ALWAYS need to try the newest mascaras, I am not a shoe person. I would rather have a 100 pairs of mascara than shoes (which some of you are probably in shock about it). I try a lot of mascaras so I am telling you the best kinds from my personal experience and collection at home and which ones not to get... Here goes

Avon's Super Full mascara-

Absolutely incredible & guess what? It's on sale now for $4.99 (lucky for you, because I paid full price for it, but it's so good, it's even worth the full price). This mascara has a great formula, the brush is awesome and it works like a charm. It adds length, darkens your eyelashes and even makes them super full like the name.

Lancome's Hypnose-
Let me first say that Lancome Hypnose used to be my favorite mascara for almost 2 years now, but Avon's super full mascara came out of the blue and wiped them away. Regardless, I still wear this mascara and love it. It lengths your eyelashes and of course makes them look full.

FOR LENGTHY EYELASHES

Lancome L' Extreme-
The name says it all. This mascara is by far the best mascara for length. If you want long eyelashes, this is a must have. Also gives some fullness but mainly focuses on the length it gives you.

CURVY LASHES

Lancome Courbe Virtuose-
They made such a big deal when this mascara came out that I had to go to the store and get it the same day. It was definitely a huge deal!! The brush is amazing and gives your eyelashes a nice curve and give them that great full look!

Avon Daring Curves-
This brush is seriously awesome, it is twisted which helps create the curves and also separate your lashes. It gives them the nice and natural full look with some added curves.

EXTREME LASHES
If dramatic lashes are your things than Lancome Fatale is for you. This is a tricky mascara if you don't know what you are doing. If you are not good at applying mascara than stay away. It gives you extremely dramatic awesome looking lashes. I actually use this for the outside corner of my eyelashes because it gives them the dark dramatic lash look and makes them look more full and my eyes stand out more.

COLORED LASHES

Mary Kay Coloriffic Velocity-
Don't kill me for this one but this is a great color mascara, available in blue or purple. It was a limited edition and they don't sell it anymore but you can sometimes find it through Ebay or a Mary Kay seller. The colors actually show up which is awesome.

MAC Pro Lash Colour-
I have to say, they have awesome colors and you can see them on your eyelashes but not to much. When you want to see the color even more, use the tip to add some extra and then re-brush your lashes with the wand. I have the blue(Periwink) and the Jungle green/turquoise blue color (Boston Fern) and they come in other awesome colors.

SHORT AND/OR SPARSE EYELASHES
If you have really short eyelashes or very few eyelashes then I would recommend getting some fake eyelashes. Most are expensive & stand out like a sore thumb because they look more fake than an orange tan. I found a great pair of fake eyelashes at an even better price. Normally I would tell you not to buy cheap priced products because you get the quality (or lack of) that you pay for (or don't pay for), but these are awesome. I originally got these for a friend because she loves to wear fake lashes and I just bought two more pairs for my sister who is getting married and wants to have some nice lashes when she walks down the aisle.

E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) Natural Lash Kit-
These are seriously the most amazing eyelashes ever. They look super natural and are as easy as 1, 2, 3 to put on. Take them out of the package, put glue on the end and stick them up. And the glue is way better than most lash glues, my friend was trying to see if I could buy the glue by itself so she can reuse the lashes. With all this hype about these amazing fake lashes, your probably thinking they are expensive right? Wrong!!! Don't pass out but they are seriously only $1.00!! They have the natural and dramatic lashes so depending on what look you are going for, get the one that matches.

EGH, BLAH! DON'T GET THESE
I have to say, that Avon's Super Shock mascara was a shock for me. I thought it was going to be a fabulous mascara but after like two coats it gave me the tarantula eye look which I was not going for! The brush is phenominal but the mascara formula is not so good.

Lancome definicils does not work for me at all. It doesn't cause clumps but it doesn't do much and isn't worth the money unless you just want slightly darker lashes. It definitely nothing special.

E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) Earth & Water Mascara doesn't sound as peaceful and pure as the name. I have to say the name caught me and the price of $1.00 made me yearn for this mascara. If I'm telling you not to spend a $1.00 to try mascara, you should know it's not good. When I used it, I felt like I was using really old, dried out mascara. This mascara just sucks overall.
